The necessity for quick equipment repair led to the new service creation as restoration of automobiles’ units. Restoration service is economically advantageous because it allows reducing the repair downtime. Restored units are a security against.
Automobiles’ units requiring restoration come to us in 2 ways:
- Clients contact us with a breakdown in a car. We carry out diagnostics and can either restore an automobiles’ unit or install the restored one and take the faulty one for further recovery;
- The company buys a large number of used automobile units from Europe and restores them for further sale.
In stock, there is always a large range of restored automobile units. When a unit is removed from a car, all further actions are negotiated with a client individually.
Diagnostic and repair of automobile units
First, units are diagnosed and tested for defects. A raft of measures is being taken to detect hidden, external or internal defects. After checking, a conclusion is given about possible defects and its recoverability.
When restoration is not possible, the unit can become a donor, because some operating parts stay in good condition. Donors are kept in stock and used for repairs at the right time.
When the unit is suitable for restoration - it is disassembled, prepared for washing (installing various plugs so that water and sand do not get inside during cleaning). Then repairs are made, parts are selected. In the repair process, there is a replacement of rubber covers, glands, seals. Also, repair kits are used that include consumables that most often fail.
After restoration, the units must be checked for serviceability and suitability for further operation. Testing is carried out on the test benches of MSG Equipment. Next, the units are again washed, cleaned with a sandblasting machine and painted. Restored units are kept in stock.
We restore:
- starters and alternators;
- steering racks;
- turbochargers;
- air conditioning compressors;
- power steering pumps;
- steering racks and columns;
- brake calipers;
- shock absorbers.
The process of units’ restoration is carried out in several stages, so the quality of restored original units is as close as possible to the new ones and better than the Chinese counterparts. The recovery procedure allows you to get almost a new unit, and at the same time, its price is acceptable.
