MS005 is a new-generation multifunctional test bench by MSG Equipment that combines the most innovative engineering solutions. In the process of the test bench designing, our engineers have taken into consideration customers' expectations and needs.
The test bench is intended for diagnostics of:
- 12/24V starters and alternators;
- alternators with vacuum pumps;
- 12V lead-acid car batteries.
The advantages of test bench MS005
The test bench will be useful for big auto repair shops engaged in the rebuilding of starters and alternators, retail and wholesale businesses for on-receipt testing of the units, as well as for the alternator designers and manufacturers.
Special features of the test bench (for example, automatic operation) allow specialists to test more starters and alternators per unit of time, service less-common and high power units, and provide dealers with an opportunity of testing starters and alternators on receipt and sorting the defective ones out.
Special features of the test bench:
- The test bench can test alternators under a load up to 300A (a full load for the alternators of today's vehicles) and starters with a power of up to 6 kW.
- Realtime graphic display of measured parameters enables the operator to monitor the unit performance and evaluate its technical condition.
- The test bench firmware provides high customizability of the interface: it is possible to select which data to display or set the parameters of automatic diagnostics.
- Special diagnostic cables for each particular unit type are used to connect it to the test bench. It makes the connection procedure simple. This function is very convenient when one has to test several same-type units. These cables can be bought separately when needed. A universal cable for connection of any unit type is included in the equipment package.
- Fully-automatic tensioning of the alternator chain and drive belt ensures easy installation and dismantling of a unit.
- The test bench is equipped with a full-featured thermal vision camera that allows realtime monitoring of the unit temperature during testing.
- You can change the appearance of a printable test report at your discretion: you can either select a standard form or make a new and unique one.
The equipment developers have foreseen the possibility of the test bench upgrade to meet the requests regularly coming from the customers. Currently, our specialists are designing two new features: diagnostics of start/stop and 48V alternators.
