MSG Equipment special repair tools for HPS racks

  • Slide hammer oil seals extractor MS00058 is probably one of the most well-known and much-needed tools. With this tool, a car mechanic can remove oil seals of hydraulic cylinders in the fastest and most undamaging way (without the tool, the whole operation takes much more time, and the extraction of an oil seal doesn’t not always go smoothly). There are two types of extractors – a standard and a short one. MS00005 is the short type intended for the dismounting of seals of power steering rack pinions.
  • Slide hammer oil seals installer MS00030. The toolset includes two pressing rods (short and long) and the heads for accurate installation of seals in hydraulic cylinders.
  • Teflon rings installers MS00074, MS00075, MS00076. Tapered inside surfaces of the cylinders enable accurate fixation of Teflon rings. Installers of three sizes allow specialists to work with the most common types of steering racks.
  • Shaft locking rings installers MS00119, MS00120, MS00121, each consists of two elements used in couples (6 pieces totally). Despite the designs' alikeness, they serve different purposes: one element is for seal installation, and another is for locking rings.
  • A universal set of wrenches for servicing automotive units belonging to about 200 car models. The wrenches can be used for unscrewing joints and nuts, shapes and sizes of which differ from standard hexagons.

Any tool of this product line can be purchased separately or as a set. We will help you to select the necessary tools for the repair of hydraulic steering racks.
