Purpose:

Universal cable MS-35670 should be used with controller MS561 for diagnostics of electric power steering racks and columns as well as EHPS pumps operating under CAN protocol.

Specifics of usage:

Universal cable MS-35670 cannot diagnose the following:

- units operating under FlexRay protocol;

- units operating under two CAN buses;

- EHPS pumps controlled with special signals;

- steering racks with external control units, mostly by Asian manufactures;

- units under load

Universal cable MS-35670 should be used by qualified mechanics only as the improper connection of the cable to the tested unit can cause damage to the latter. If you lack the knowledge and practical experience in diagnostics of such units, we strongly recommend to use special diagnostic cables or take a training course.
