MS550 adapter is used jointly with the MS561 tester for diagnostics of electric power steering racks without the electronic control unit (usually in Japanese cars).

Purpose:
MS550 adapter enables MS561 to test the following electric components of steering racks: electric motors, electric motor crankshaft position sensors, torque sensors, as well as mechanical parts of steering racks. MS550 adapter allows real-time sensors data reading out, and thus precise detection of faults and calibration of the torque sensor.
