Clutch disk
Clutch disk is a part of compressor drive system. Compressor clutch is one of the most essential mechanisms in an air conditioning system. By pressing the button in a passenger compartment, you activate the clutch, which starts the air conditioner.
If the system activation fails or the air conditioner capacity is low, the clutch disk malfunction can be diagnosed. Most often a breakdown of the components of the compressor clutch happens, when the system remains idle for a long time or the tech inspection of the system hasn’t been carried out as required.
