TEST BENCH MSG MS003 COM

Test bench for diagnostics of starters, alternators and voltage regulators. The test bench has dimensions and can be placed on a table. The bench includes the following diagnostic functions: testing of 12V and 24V alternators under load, 12V and 24V voltage regulators, 12V and 24V starters in idle running mode. The device carries out testing of alternators under load up to 50A.

The equipment set includes:

  • test bench
  • 2 dry-charged batteries
  • wires to link the connection ports of the bench
  • User Manual.

How to test starters?

  1. A starter must be installed on the mountingface.
  2. Release the chain to the required length by pressing the button Chain release on the control panel. Latch the chain over the locating lug of the mounting face.
  3. Fix the unit on the mounting face by pressing the button Tighten chain on the control panel. Tightening will stop automatically.
  4. Connect the main lead with multi-functional tightening, called ‘crocodile’, to the body of the tested unit, which is earth, connected with‘-‘ of thebattery.
  5. Press the button Alternator&Starter tester, set required voltage, using 12V/24V buttons, taking into account technical characteristics of a tested alternator.
  6. Connect B+ wire to the main output of an alternator.
  7. 50 Connection port of the test bench must be connected to the main grid of the solenoid.
  8. Press START button.
  9. Follow current and voltage characteristics on the indicators. Disconnect thewires after testing.
  10. Remove starter from the mountingface.
